In the Good Old Summertime

Welcome to a photo journal look at a seven month old's little life :>)

I don't know whether it's typical...
but Kylee sure knows how to enjoy a day outside in the Northwoods!

STOP THE MUSIC... SORRY!!!

Too much laughing over here!
Next pic is when a baby gets swaddled into a life jacket...
she does not find it very amusing...
and she reallllly wants Grandma to fix it.

OK.
Slightly better...
At least Kylee can see.
Maybe a little squishy yet on the cheeks....

I think she would rather be released....

In Studio ~ with Aryn

A warm welcome to Aryn into my studio!

A bit of fashion flair...

some portrait modeling...

friendly chatter and playing in studio lights...

...made for one gorgeous photo session.

Photographing young people is a rewarding experience...
I am privileged to hear of their dreams for their life...
their friendships...
their skills and interests that will light up our world.

Aryn,
your desire to care for infants and children says much about your nurturing and gentle heart.
God bless the path that lies ahead for you.
Shine for Jesus!  And may the little ones you attend
come to know that Jesus loves them, too.

"Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them,
for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these."

Life Lived Freely

A beautiful dress, a beautiful heart, a beautiful belonging.

A song in the heart that takes hold.

For Aryn, her heart song is
This Is Amazing Grace

Who breaks the power of sin and darkness?

Whose love is mighty and so much stronger?

The King of glory, the King above all kings!

Who brings our chaos back into order?

Who makes the orphan a son and daughter?

The King of glory, the King of Glory!

This is amazing grace!

This is amazing love!

That You would take my place

That You would bear my cross

You laid down your life

That I would be set free

Oh! Jesus, I sing for all that You've done for me!

Who shakes the whole earth with holy thunder?

And leaves us breathless with awe and wonder?

The King of glory, the King above all kings!

Oh, Jesus! I sing...

I sing for all that You've done for me!

*****

I"m with you, Aryn!
It is amazing grace and love
to be forgiven
and to be given a new life.
There is a sweet abandonment of what tightly binds us,
and I love how your photos
display the freedom we have to live life
as daughters of the King!

Thanks so much for the fun evening outdoor session,
and Part Two from the studio session is coming soon.
You're going to love those, too
